two of my mates hav mk4 gt tdi's and there pretty awesome n have lots of fancy things lol, think they get around 50mpg without trying and about 70-80 for like 1 mile on motorways somehow, both been re mapped though so are around 200bhp n 250ft-lbs which aint to shabby  only thing i dont like about them is the sound of the engine tbh

Well the bloke is messing me about tbh  seen an s reg 1.9 tdi for £1490 at a dealer in Blackwood but I'll bet it has moon miles.

what are the facelift clios like gez? I've been offered one... albeit it's a 1.2 but still, I don't want/need the power tbh, I'd be happy to sacrifice power for decent mpg when i'm skint  It's a Y reg Expression in silver with 88k on the clock, seems a good deal tbh.

facelift clio has completely different dash, not at all slow for a 1.2, everything is plastic, dont you do motorways a lot? 1.2 will be absolute shit on fuel on motorways, they are defo an around town car

More round town, bit of dual carriageway and motorway aye... I've seen they will do 57mpg on a run so can't be that bad. I've driven a mk2 1.2 and it was surprisingly nippy, wasn't bad on motorway so assume it's the same engine? Still not sure, might get it, bang some alloys on, run it til mot is up and flog it

yer very long days for me, 5.30 start 7.30 get home on pretty shit pay, just pitched my manager for more pay so hopefully get a big payrise then il be happy to continue doing it
