It was but I have just gone to a triple on the front. While I am sure a double is great for some people and where they ride it does not work for me riding round the peak district.

I've ridden my 2x9 at the Peak District. Wasn't too bad but you lose top end without a big ring. The granny on my chain set is quite small.

I'd definitely go 3x9/10 if I lived there.

The only place for 2x10 or even 1x10 is trail centres or bike parks.

Maiden voyage this morning. Clip in pedals were fine.

Bit of a baptism of fire this morning, icy, snow, mud/sludge but loved every second!

Hopefully buy Jas's 2010 Giant Anthem X4 from him. Should be a touch better than the Voodoo Hoodoo!

Me and Dad went for a ride. Did about 17 miles all in. Was excellent, apart from fatigue started to kick in and the last 3 - 5 miles wasn't very enjoyable at all.

And I binned it on the icy roads as it was hidden by a fresh layer of snow

Hopefully buying a road bike this week although I know most people are into off road stuff. It's a trek 1.2 2010 used twice for £250.

I'm predicting some serious Endomondo screen shots when you get that.

Once it gets a bit better weather yeah I will go further distance etc. 21 miles wasn't bad today though on cheap bike.
