A lot of South Americans have these sort of agreements in place. It does complicate things and generally adds a few million to any deal. But it seems he'll be a United player eventually, as he's refusing to train for Sporting.

They won't. They'd take the player to court over a breach of contract. But in Rojo's case, the holding company own 75% of his rights, and now that Sporting have rejected the bid, they have 2 weeks to agree the transfer or buy out the 12 or so million from the holding company.

Pretty much. Bit of a gamble seeing as he is extreme hot headed. If LVG can calm him down, he has the potential to go very far.
