Didnt they say they planned to announce a new manager within a week at the time of Villanova leaving? He's probably in place already and been kept up to date with whats going on, especially if Barca want to keep appointing from within.

Apparently it sounds most likely it'll be Luis Enrique, who has coached Barca B and was second behind Villanova to take over after Pep, but he had agreed to coach at Celta so they need to fidget their way around that, According to some Spanish based journo on TS just now

It probably will be aye. Again, it doesn't really make that much of a difference because clubs like Madrid and Barca buy and sell with minimal managerial intervention at the best of times.
