When you do long rides Assos Chamois Creme stops you getting any saddle sores.

None of you lot ride more than 10 miles a time any way so its probably why you don't think you would need it.

I just like rubbing creme on my gooch though.

It could be the fact you have a fat saddle or saddle cover.

Get a decent saddle, I recommend one from the Specialized Body Geometry range, and you'll find it won't be too bad.

Updated X-ray from today. Healing nicely, new bone forming and fused. Should hopefully be back on the bike next weekend.
Just need to fit a new cassette, chain and jockey wheels to the thing.

I was doing weekend ride of 40 -50miles as well as 30 a day in the week and never needed to cream my gooch!

You lot are fucking hilarous! Creaming up before a ride!

40-50 miles is nothing really its when you start doing 90-100 and are sat sweating for 6-7+ hours

Try adjusting the angle/tilting your saddle a little bit more forward, will take the pressure off a bit.

Fucking cable frayed on my road bike last night. Got jammed in gear 10 miles from home

Luckily it was a middle gear so just couldnt go as fast as I wanted down the hills/flats.
