Crouch would be a good signing for you tbf, as would David Villa, could buy him for £35 with Barca making a profit

Maybe i've missed it but how would Andy Carroll pass a fitness test? Is he not injured or has this been played on as they knew all along he'd be sold? Also, 35m is alot? Just reeks of desperation, he's hardly set the league on fire, 3/4 of his goals have been tap ins FFS.

at least all this money has stayed in england (except the probable luiz transfer) is a bit ridiculous, but it's how much people felt they had to pay to improve their place in the league. Each position is worth 500k i think, europe obviously worth 5m+, then season ticket sales etc... EPL is a money pit for income and expenditure unfortunately.

They made a good point on SSN Afellay for £3m was the steal of the window really

More luck i'd say tho rather than a prolific/proven striker. People beat on that he's scored 11 goals already in his first season, i'm just making the point, that 3/4 have been lucky tap ins. Take them off, then its 7/8 goals, hardly amazing is it??
