It's dark red. Yes it is. Or rather i'm hoping it is.

If not, back to black it is.

wait and see. i'm not entirely sure whether it'll work either but it can always be cleaned off and re-dyed black again.

i just fancy something different from the norm and red roofs seem to be 'in' with regards to porsche/audi/mercedes.

i love the look of this, although i know mine won't be as bright:

ok, so this is going to take a while

used renovo canvas cleaner, left it for 60 minutes to remove grime and all the crap. didn't remove any of the renovo reviver dye.

then i used some apc and used a bristle brush, a small difference but nothing major.

then i remembered i once used some fast glass to remove some bird poo (was all i had at the time) and it took some dye off, so used it again and finally some has been removed, although a lot still remains

going to have to do it a few more times yet.

The colour is dark red. The original roof colour is grey but time has faded it into a green colour, so bright red wouldn't work.

The pic above has had a new fabric skin fitted.

Christ oh mighty, this stuff is ridiculously difficult to remove. The roof has been scrubbed 4 or 5 times now and look at the state of it. Wish I hadn't bothered now.

If I can't get it all off soon, i'll be going back to black. Can't be driving around with it like this.

Not sure. Didn't notice it in real life, only when I uploaded the pic. The 2 rectangle shapes have always been there though.
