Nice one

I can't get the soddin thing to work lol so I'm having some cable GSI clocks off Ali_corsa and I've just bought a speedo cable so I can use my machanical sender instead. Finger crossed that sorts it

More progress this weekend

On monday I drove down to TJ wheels to get them re powder coated. I picked them up friday morning and I so pleased with them! They were letting the car down before I felt, one was kurbed, one had been knocked over and scratched and another was a different shade of white to the rest.

It cost me £160 for all four which was a bargin I thought considering the tyres had to be removed + refitted

Pics

My old centre cap badges weren't looking the best so I got some brand new ones

and fitted!

Next up I refitted my number plates. The front is only temp for the mot. I've got a 3/4 one to go on after

As mentioned earlier I've been having some trouble with my speedo which just wouldnt work. So I decided to convert it back to cable driven clocks. I bought a brand new cable and a set of GSI clocks from Ali_corsa, cheers mate!

However, I got the car out today and put it onto the drive. I then noticed the mile counter had gone up. So I took it for a quick spin and the speedos randomly started working happy but peed off at the same time as ive wasted £40 on the cable set up lol.

Finally a couple of general snaps

We took the bumper back off again as the exhaust was hitting the bumper, I enlarged the hole and refitted it

One of my two beasties together

The plan for tomorrow is to give it a damn good clean. It looks alright in the photos but its a bloody mess in the flesh. Its got 6 months worth of dust over it! Then do the last couple of jobs for the mot which is on wednesday like refitting the wipers etc and making sure everything is working ok

Just got back from the mot, failed Gutted

It failed on the following

Wrong coloured bulbs

Headlight alignment

Reg plates

Exhaust emissions

Bugger it! On the plus side though its drives really well! I took the extra long route to the mot place to try it out and I love it! It feels like a rocket compared to my 106

bulbs + plates isnt too bad, emissions will be i assume because it hasnt been driven for so long, could do with letting the exhaust get silly hot/driving for a long way but then with it not having an mot thats hard to do.
