Yep there poo... to much power just pull the arms back to much, I would have to steer to 2-3 o'clock when hitting boost.... Checked everything tracking etc...(and I have a Quaife) Changed bushes never had problem since!!!

Should be starting the welding process tommoorw, fingers crossed!

Na didn't bother not really needed, with the power I wanna get to with the let tho they will help lol.

Also seam welding every seam in the bay. Gonna take a long time but why I'm at it a may aswell.

Are they not for sump guard mounts?

Seam welding? Do you mean stitch? You know the cons of seam welding yes?

They go at the back side lower crossmember mate. Also you stitch weld the spot welded seams.. This give strength but still allows the shell to flex. And dont put too much heat into your welding otherwise you will warp things and you can fuck things up buddy. Keep your stitch around 1" weld, 1.5" gap

FYI,

Ive only stitched up round the streering rack and around the area where the lower wish bones go.

i just spend 3 hours reading this whole thread, and my word this is one heck of a car! worth every penny youve payed and every minute of worked you had to do on it!!

Thanks mate

Had some parcels turn up this morning.

Water proof and breathable carcover,



And the hoses I ordered and had to send back to have made in black,



Thursday my friend and I started doing abit of welding, mainly just some little holes and other little cover ups that won't be needed. Also got some chassis plates in but forgot to get pictures so will get some later on.

First of all dash had to be removed,



Then welding began,













Still need to

- Cut half the bulk head out and weld a new part in
- weld some more holes up
- make templates for the arches and ac hole
- cut some more lugs of and weld over
- weld in arches and ac cover

Then on to prepping it all!

I use the same strengthening kit Ive cut them two triangle pieces square and welded them on like that you will see when you put them on the car.

Engine updates is nothing lol. That will be the last thing really. Wanna get the engine bay out of the way first.

Made some templates for the passages side today
