Be interesting to see who chances it and goes with a dry race setup.

RBR have shipped out a new alternator, replaced the faulting bearing(s), but apparently it'll only be fitted to Vettel's car

quote:
But with the RB8's competiveness not in doubt, it may be more significant that Vettel's car will be armed this weekend with a new-spec alternator.

Jenson was running a low downforce set up in FP but he was miles off the pace, even for him.

Reckon we'll know more tomorrow about rain for the race but its looking likely, possibly some in quali too which could really mix things up.

Lewis quickest in FP2, if it was a dry rac/quali i reckon he'd win.

Checked various weather reports and looks like rain is a def!

Might put a tenner on Alonso

C'Mon Alonso, looked poor in P3 this morning. Hoping for rain and Massa to take Vettel out.

i was thinking the same daniel

ferrari are mental enough to break stuff on massa's car to push alonso up the grid, so i can only imagine they'd also be mental enough to allow massa to accidentally on purpose crash into vettel.

Likewise but i can't see it happening unfortunately.

Weathers dried up for quali which is a bit of a shame, was hoping for a bit of a shake up. Here's hoping to Alonso out qualifying Vettel.

Fair play to Hamilton and Button, shame about Alonso though. No doubt Ferrari will try and get Massa in front of Vettel to piss up his race and get Alonso up there to challenge him; either that or get Massa to run him off the track

Should be a good final race of the season tomorrow. I'm hoping to see Ze German get booted off at the first corner, and then watch Webber try and keep Alonso behind him....and then watching Webber let Alonso past on the home straight and last lap to get the points he needs to win the title * and **

*pay back for Webber when they both "touched" in Turkey some years ago

**OK...pipe dream over

Lewis hope he gets the win, he clearly wants it desperately. Obv want Alonso to win the title but we won't be seeing Massa running into Vettel intentionally, he and Ferrari would get dry bummed for that.

Can only hope seb trips over someone, even then its difficult to see how Alonso can get higher than 3rd (barring a McLaren fuck up/rain) with Button and Lewis looking fast.

Maldonado with a 10 place grid penalty for 3rd reprimand, missed an FIA weight check in the middle of Q2 apparently.

This means Alonso moves up a spot to seventh. I'm predicting Massa will get another gearbox penalty.

If Vettel for whatever reason goes out, I'm also predicting Hamilton will go out with another mechanical problem, Button will be off the pace and Webber will have alt failure again.

Stefano has already said they won't be getting Massa dropped back, he's going to be an important piece for them tomorrow, they need him infront of Vettel at the start.

Agreed. Theres no way ferrari will risk their rolling road block when he's so close to vettel already, on the grid.

Ferraris always start well so wouldn't be hard for felipe to leapfrog vettel into the first corner, especially seeing the mistakes vettel uas been making.

Raining again at the moment keep it up.

If this ends up with Alonso winning and Glock stoping to let Vettel past for a point to win championship. Oh wait!

Vettel pretty much needs a DNF can't see him not on podium if he finishes.

Massa needs to be on - Operation "take him out"

i so want Massa to take Vettel out!

Cant wait for this race. Massa has such an important job holding Vettel back but i just cant see things working out for them. Im just hoping Hamilton wins and Schumi finishes the race.

Can see this being a massive anti climax as Alonso gets taken out first corner

So long as Lewis wins who cares.
