another one of those little problems sorted ot today , when going over bumps the boot floor was flexing so needed to make a support for the tank

made this and ground the welds down

primed

and painted so it will blend in a little

and fitted

also been having a slight smell of petrol in the car, turns out the rubber matt under the tank had absorbed petrol so changed that and that seams to of sorted it, need to fit the new hubs but my mate has the tracking equipment locked away so need to get that of him, also having a few problems with the oil pressure gauge so ive orded a adapter to try sort that out , if that fails i will just buy a new one ,on 289 miles now

Ben the car is always going to stink of fuel. Thats the nature of having Aluminium tanks inside the car. Aluminium doesn't the fumes in.

Looking great as always Ben.. The car is a credit to you. Im sorry though, don't like the tank location mate. Very very dangerous but the rest of the car is awesome.

You will always get a touch of fuel smell with an in car fuel system. That's just the way it is...

Also.... Who is the guy that machined your hubs.. Could do with getting some sorted...
