well I do and it's staying!
Forgot to reply to your u2u. Dyes work light to dark only, so red for example won't go on top of black.

Bet it isn't.
Painful for me. I had a few years of tax exempt motoring

Really undecided about tyre sizes.
Camskill have 215/35/19 and 225/35/19 at the same price, but the original wheels had 225/35's. The new wheels are half inch wider and 9mm lower in offset, meaning they'll stick out 21mm more with an inch bigger in diameter.
But a guy with a z4 has the same size wheels, with a lower offset with no rubbing.

Yet I had rubbing when I had 20mm spacers on the fronts.

The problem is I think the 35 profile on 215's would be far too small.
This is 225/35 fr 235/35 r on the same width wheels as mine:
Looks hoooooge from the rear:

Oh didn't know that just bought them from camskill, went for 225/35 in the end.
Now with regards to fitting, does any old tyre place fit tyres that are stretched? I don't want to go and get looked at like i'm some kind of weirdo

Mmmmm fresh rubber! Fantastic service from both camskill and city link. I've never bought tyres online before but I can't fault it. Just need to pay to get them fitted now. These shouldn't be difficult (225/35 on 8.5'') for the fitters at all.

They're on the fronts so doesn't matter too much. I also don't drive like a dick in the rain on public roads so will be fine.
Also, bear in mind your m3 had 100+ bhp more with probably less weight over the rear tyres.

true. A side by side double would be nice.
Tyres couldn't be fitted today, picking them up after work tomorrow. They have to be on the car saturday for a z4 owners mess about/modding/coding meet.

Tyres being fitted now, found a stretch friendly garage my dads mate had trouble fitting the 225/35's to 8.5'' fronts proper south east tax on them aswell.
This other guy is a proper old school grease monkey and has no problem doing them. He even knew all about stretched tyres I usually go to a big fancy tyre place with a lounge and tv so this is just a bit of a change

I'm working until 10:30 tonight and fitting them after.
here's a pic of a rear wheel. Not too much stretch so should be fine.
