honestly peeps, i've had a really shit day but reading this whole thread has just made has made my day: it's so damn funny
just for fun, heres a reply from courtney turbos when i queried them about a turbo conversion for my 1.6 sport:
"Thanks for your enquiry, we do have a conversion for this car the standard
conversion is £2995 and gives 150 bhp and 160 lbsft of torque. We can take
this further with the aid of a new inlet manifold and additional piggy back
computer and extra injector. This cost an extra £975 and will put the power
up to 175-180 bhp.
I hope this is of some help
Regards Jon Shield"
look at those figures man! £500 aint gonna get you no where man - let alone no where near 200bhp
you gotta laugh tho!
cheers for making my day, twoz a laugh

The manifold is the better mod for the 1.4, over the other stuff mentioned.....cams, heads, filters etc....pound for pound, relatively....
Just goes to show its a weak link.
As for going to show, surely the originator of this thread set out to cause mayhem and get a good reaction and he did. Does anyone reckon he was serious ? Surely the insurance bit on his first post was just a smokescreen to masquerade the post as serious....
