anyway..............................off in amin...things to do...off to ge bairnout his bed...
And i will not have a fag for the next 3 hours when i am on my own with the bairn.....
I too go outside for a fag....when missus looks after bairn.... etc etc
etc etc etc tect etc etc..
u do get some selfish smokers too that will light up any where and not care what ppl think...
i don't think we are like that......

Just read all 5 pages of this. Welshdude, you say smokers are selfish, but you keep going on about how smokers effect YOUR life, and how YOU may suffer, that seems to me as your being selfish, only caring about yourself.
Smoking isnt a hobby, it's an addiction, which like any other addicition is an arse to quite. I started smoking 2 years ago when i was 15, and over the 2 years i hate 2 think how much money ive wasted on cigarettes, but in those 2 years ive become addicted and thus no how hard it is to stop.
Im all for non smoking areas in public, because at the end of the day, the less places people are allowed to smoke in, the less they can smoke which will be able to help them cut down.
If im out for a meal in restaurant i wont smoke, because i know whats it like to get a woft of smoke halfway through eating, and its not very pleasent.
At the end of the day if people want to smoke then let them, its their life and whatever you say is not going to stop them. I refuse to buy my younger mates fags because i know its bad for them. Before i started smoking i used to run for Kent, there's no way im doing that now!
You just have to agree with both sides on this one, if you dont like it then im afraid thats tough shit on your behalf

Out of interest how old are you?
If you had read the hole of my post you would of seen that i'm not selfish in my manner at all. I dont know if selfish is the right word for you, i think its more along the lines of ignorance, only believing in what you think and not taking note of other peoples comments on the matter
