So just to clear things up, they still have security 9 years after this place closed?? You would have thought something BIG happened there in order for this to happen. Tis spooky though, but very very interesting.

btw someone mentioned earlier it being strange that a planning application for the sit had gone to parliament. This is not particularly strange - it just means that after appealing to the local authority for permission the proposers were still unhappy and took it to the next level up - parliament.

Aparently there is a hospital near here which also shut down a few years ago, but one section of it is still open. Some proper lunatics in there and thats high security. One of the James Bulger killers is in there too Maybe they have someone who did similar, murdered someone and was locked up there when they came out of prison for their own safety.
