I saw the pics
Generally quite liked the car, not to differant to my own.
One thing I couldn't quite work out was if the rear number plate was just stuck onto the bumper Is it stuck or is there a recess in it?

Donnalisa did you do the conversion yourself??? tidy looking motor, is there really much difference in handling between the 1.6 & 2.0??
Is it also stripped in the rear??

We've got the 2Ltr on Avo Coilovers & 16's so the handling is way better than that of the standard 1.6 16v GSI (I also had 1 of those but it was taken away yesterday after being vandalised & written off!!! )
We had the conversion done 4 us & it wasn't cheap either but my BF has recently helped a friend to do his & says it's pretty straight forward!!!!
And yes it's stripped out with just a dubwiser strutbrace in the rear & 2 Cobra seats in the front!

but they say stupid things!?
i.e. "how do i find out how many nuts hold on my wheels" (not naming, but begins with C )

Actually i never asked that, i was asking which alloys you all thought would suit my car, then someone said if it was 3stud i would have to be careful as you couldnt get many alloys that are 3studs, and i asked how i would know if it was a 3stud or 4stud, fair enough might of been a stupid question but why all the abuse etc, you could of just answered

Car looks good, maybe a set of speedlines will finish it off reall well though
And my eyes on the first page was because i couldnt see anything in the first thread and wondered what was going on. You do have to take a lot of crap on this site, but generally it is very good if you need help with stuff, which you may well do after fitting this engine to your car
