what hell is the problem with a mbc? half of sxoc use them... are they all wrong?
once its a ball and spring type then its fine
melting pistons? only a clown who wacks up the boost without proper cooling and fueling does this....
i ran one for the last six months on my s14a qith no problems at all... only recently went electronic....

MBC work well for what they do but i wouldnt fancy one if i used the car alot and needed it to be reliable, your forgetting about the extra wear on the turbo and creating pre ignition, eitherway somne for of electronic mapping is needed

best thing ive done is fit an mbc because the anal valve as i like to call it was messing my boost up. as long as you dont keep winding them up they are fine.
