be cool if you could make a marine pond outside. then you could have loads of cool fish in it. or sharks. then if anyone pisses you off just throw them in the pond
Suppose it'd be impossible to keep the water warm enough

the stream is gonna have pebbles in it (gonna steal them from the beach ) and either do a formal style edging or put smaller pebbles on the outer part gradually fading into stone chips which is what the path is gonna be made of.

Yeah we got some brackets to put on the inside edge of the sleepers to hold the net, and the liner is already tacked on neatly there, the other side will be edged with stones and then a stone chip path round it up to the stream. I got 5 underwater lights in there at the moment, 3 in the pond itself, one in the stream pointing upstream, and one lighting up the plants above it, looks really nice Gonna get some more lights for the garden and wire them up to thesame junction box, the main junction box which controls everything has a light sensor in it which turns the lights on automatically at night and off in the morning

I wish I had a garden big enough to do that sort of thing
I'm contemplating buying a load of slate and having that instead of grass, too much maintenance or perhaps just me being lazy.
Think it would look a whole lot better though.

My garden used to be all grass, pain in the ass cutting it every week!!, 120 slabs & 4 tone of chips sorted it out

See this is why i think slate is a good idea, i was told bark can look dirty and crap after a while so thought slate would be the better option.
Would have some nice slabs leading to the shed and perhaps a bench down the side of the garden.
Then get Drunkenfool round to sort out a water feature for me

Yeah I would give bark a miss if its a large area....its fine for filling in the gaps but I wouldnt want alot of it imo tbh!!
I might tell the drunk neighbour at mine theres a bottle of cider burried up in the far corner...I want a pond
