Spoon is Honda's tuning and styling (aftermarket) company. Spoon only deal with Honda's and a good job they do as well! Stunning EK9 Martin

I saw one of these in Royston (Cambridgeshire) New Years Eve and was in awe - nearly crashed at the roundabout as it went passed me and I was looking in my door mirror at it

Spoon aren't part of Honda at all. They deal primarily with them, but Mugen is the official Honda tuning company.

well i've had a fun wee while there.
first off, i got the buddy clubs re-balanced again! underfloor heating + wheels = weights falling off.
bit in my hurried "ah bollocks my weights fell off", i stuck one of them to one of the spokes so it wasnt on the floor.
on the way to get balanced, i pulled it off, only to pull the "p1 racing" sticker off so had to order a new one, luckily got one, and got it all sorted so they'll be on tomorrow with a bit of luck.
got the poly bushes for the trailing arm fitted, hoping it'd sort the knocking from the rear, but alas it hasnt, so back to garage on monday to get it sorted hopefully.
whilst in, they told me offside gearbox mount is broken, so thats another £65
but hopefully have pics of the new badges on, paint renovated, and the new wheels on, HOPEFULLY
but its ace to drive, 2 new scoobies, new ctr, and various other things all dealt with, handling is awesome too

FINALLY fitted my new wheels
took forever, as i got the wheels, werent balanced correctly, so took them to a local place, got them balanced, then stuck them in spare room til i went to fit them a few weeks ago, bloody weights had fell off
so back again to get them balanced, and decided today was the day, so fitted them in the pissing rain and wind
7x 16" buddy club p1 racing sf wheels, with toyo t1-r tyres, and black forged aluminium wheel nuts
toyo's make a big difference, still not scrubbed in, but doesnt spin much, if at all in 2nd in the wet, and it used to be really bad.
taking a bit of getting used to, as championship white is quite cream and the wheels are bright, but i like em!
anyway, pics.

fitted my hid's today thanks dave
the car, a bit dirty
aluminium flight case with the bits
supplied wiring harness for the H4 replacement
there was bugger all space to get in to fit the hid bulbs
thats the hid bulb fitted into the passenger light, i couldnt get it to go in when the light was in the car due to the power steering reservoir, total bugger to get into.
had to drop the bumper and mess about to get the fucker in and out
had to take the airbox for access on the drivers side, piece of piss, two 10mm bolts, fitted the ballast for that side under the airbox as there was plenty of room, bolted it to a mount for an air pipe.
finished engine bay you can see the passenger side ballast behind the pas revservoir, best place i could get for it.
the installation was easy apart from the problems the car posed as it was tight for space.
the power lead to the battery could've done with being another 6 inches longer, but it was enough anyway, luckily the holder for the original wiring conduit had a spare, so its all nice n neat to the right of the strut brace.
basically all you had to do was run the cables, fit the bulbs, attach one ring connector to the battery, 2 earths either side for the ballasts, the rest all plugged in, didnt need to cut the original wiring or drill any holes at all
low beam
high beam
going out tonight to find dark roads

its full beam.
i've not tried it on the road, it doesnt come up right on the cam really, but the low beam has been adjusted at an mot station so they'll be fine.

yeah the japs arent the tidiest
the only wiring visible from the hid's is the wiring you see around the passenger side ballast, the rest is all tidy
