Jeezus that sounds terrible! Was the guy who fitted it reputable? If you wiggle wires and it comes off and on sounds like poor wiring? Chris I'd get it to someone reputable to double check everything, reliability is a must and if it keeps breaking down will end up costing you a fortune in recovery bills.

Too much play in the mounts and the rad in too far into the engine bay

I now use Rotherhithe tunnel as I know which bridge structule points he removed.. The best strongest bits
Should have gone to Lee first mate, would have been cheaper probably as well Have faith though.

that last engine conversion went wrong as well. Tom had to stop the cheque within about 2 hours of picking the car up.

Turned into a cheap conversion though eh Tim
Only had to stop the Cheque because there were several agreements on the conversion... think No 3. was 'The engine shall not drop oil' which wasn't the case but turned out trying to find and XE that doesn't leak is impossible. After a few teethers though as Chris said it ran fine
When I say teethers I mean...
New heater matrix hose, new Thermostat, new CTS, new spark plugs, hubs and bearings oh and a major front wheel allignment because they left the track waaay out!
Good luck Chris and hope Lee does a top job, lot of effort in that car and hope a shoddy conversion doesn't let it down.

Mav, the car was aoriginally converted by Cossvaux when it was owned by its previous owner. The issue with the turbo engine install was that the rad may have been incorrectly installed, or the play in the mounts caused the turbo to mash itself into the rad.
The mounts were the same ones from the XE installation as new ones werent provided.
