Neither does our Astra VXR.
Looks like it hasn't got a onboard computer either.

does that not bug you? it would bug me not being able to see the water temp, and in something like that i would like oil temp and pressure also

no need for any of those gauges on a new road car.

Rude not to specify nav if its a new one, that would fix that issue

I'm not sure what the advantage is of specifying Sat Nav on a new car when you can get a portable TomTom or similar.
A TomTom is cheaper and you can use it in any car so cant see the advantage of having a fixed built in system?!

So it will be worth more than one without but then you have to pay extra when you originally buy the car...

And less prone to being stolen.
To me it looks like there is an ECU light just above the centre of the steering wheel!

Can you not see another bit of yellow literally just above the steering wheel, diagonally left below the 4. Looks like an ECU light to me

Of course there is an EM light - how else is the ECU going to tell you something is wrong?

dont want to go on but no1 can steal a portable sat nav from your car if you keep it in your house when not in use like you are meant to do....

Alright, saves the hassle of setting it up every time you need to get in the car. I'd have built in sat nav anyday - and would probably be the only sat nav I have.
