If you get to the final IF you do, surely Wenger will play the big boys then. Its all very well saying the kids deserve to play as they beat Liverpool, and he has a point and fair play to him. But, you can't possibly play them against Chelsea as they will play a full squad. Regardless of it being the League Cup, silverwares silverware and it looks good on the cv!

I would be happy for him to drop Gerrard (totally out of the squad) and play Lennon. Both because I love Lennon and it would mean no injuries for Gerrard and more rest!

PMSL @ some of the quotes on here when Tottenham were 2-0 up just goes to show how much people on here really know

Tottenham should of gone pushing for a 3rd goal imo instead of sitting back and letting Arsenal go at them. Lennon looked shit hot, he's quality. It wasn't a case of Eboue and Toure being dirty ffs, they just weren't quick enough

I fancy Wenger to perhaps field Silva in the side at the Emirates. Can't see us losing there. Tottenham should of wrapped it up last night.

I would just like to quote a headline from the back of the Metro newsppaper this morning... 'Child's Play'.

TBH i think a draw will make us fight harder for it away rather than sit back on 2 goal lead.

I was watching it with a mate and even when they went 2-0 up I thought we could bring it back.

Berbatov's goal was a mixup between Almunia and Toure. Easy header. Baptista's own goal was a freak. Apart from Lennon nobody else looked dangerous for Tottenham.

I said to my mate it would all calm down after half an hour or so and the pace would get slower and it did. We were unlucky not to go into the break with a goal.

2nd half we were all over them imo. Arsenal need to start making a few shots on goal instead of trying to play it through all the time. There were times when huge holes appeared in the Yid defence and Robinson should of been tested more.

I always notice that about Arsenal, sometimes take the 'beautiful game' a little too far and try to walk it into the back of the net.

Hleb is shite aswell

yes, i thought keane and chimbonda looked good. After dimi went off keane played too deep and left defoe alone up front. I think Keane and berbatov away for next leg will be a better choice

Always seeking the perfect goal, when fans would actually take any kind of goal.

agreed. Fabregas, Baptista and even Toure have really good shots on them so there's no reason why we can't pepper the goal with shots more. Hleb hasn't looked that great this season. Perhaps it's just a case of players like Silva and Fabregas (and maybe even Rosicky) performing better.

Spurs stand no chance at the Emirates, all we need is a 0-0 draw and were through. If Liverpool and Utd cant beat us at home, then why should Spurs?

I think Wenger will put more of the 1st team on the bench, if things are looking dodgy then he will bring them on, theres no chance he would risk missing the chance on some silverware, or even adding that to the treble this season
