Celtic have always sang that ..... And they sing it better/louder aswell
Milan look class on the ball but 0-0 good score at half time...
so your telling me they sang it before we started...as I'll argue that point!!
Yes liverpool started singing it before Celtic did but it was a song written for a musical in 1945. So no, celtic didn't steal it from Liverpool.
This guy understands what he's talking about
We both adopted the song, there was no thievery or lack of imagination on our part as has been suggested. Also as Mav stated we are better at singing it on a wider scale

yes, but as a football club we adopted it first. Im not saying we made it up.
Still, that was a great result for you lot, could of done with getting a goal but leaves you with a great chance in 2 weeks.

A man had a cut to the head and was trying to get his son away from the impending crush. French Police took all this as trying to climb the fence and cause a scrap and sprayed tear gas. The cameras showed you people trying to climb over.
Celtic have their work cut out now in Italy. Arsenal need to produce something pretty special too.

well it was an entertaining fairly open game. very very frustrated and embarrassed at gilardino for his lack of finishing ability and the dive justified booking.
we looked sound at the back, gatusso had a blinder.
celtic overall were good. but dont know if they'll be prepared at the san siro because milan are likely to step up their game, and have a more potent striker up front. lol.

No club in the world sounds better than Liverpool when they are in full voice... they were even singing YNWA after we knocked them out of the fa cup the other week
Admittedly Celtic come a very close 2nd IMO!!

The only players I thought player well for Arsenal last night were Senderos and Clichy. Everyone else was just crap. Henry, should have taken him off in the second half IMO. And what was he doing holding his face when no part of a PSV players body went near his face.
I think thats bye bye Champions League for us this year now.

I dont
They had some big players out. Their squad was stretched to the point that the could only name 5 out of a possible 7 subs.

In England, the song's most famous outing was recorded in the early 1960s by Liverpool Merseybeat group Gerry & the Pacemakers, which reached #1 in the UK charts on the 26 October 1963 where it stayed for 4 weeks. It quickly became the club anthem of Liverpool Football Club [1] and is invariably sung by its supporters moments before the start of the game. [2] The words You'll Never Walk Alone feature in the club crest. In Scotland the song was later adopted as the anthem of Glasgow football club Celtic.
The song is also sung by other association football crowds including :
* England: Ipswich Town, Liverpool Football Club.
* Austria: SK Rapid Wien.
* Netherlands: FC Twente, Feyenoord Rotterdam and Ajax Amsterdam.
* Germany: FC St. Pauli (also Borussia Dortmund and Alemannia Aachen).
* Greece: AEK Athens FC (AEK fans adopted a Greek version of the song).
* Japan: F.C. Tokyo.
* Italy: Hellas Verona F.C..
* Scotland: Celtic FC.
* Portugal: SL Benfica
The Pink Floyd song "Fearless", from their 1971 Meddle album, includes a recording of the Liverpool Kop singing "You'll Never Walk Alone" at the end of the track.
i've only heard this sung once at portman road.

Look atthe facts above ffs
My ex g/f's nan had an affair with gerry from gerry and the pacemakers
Can't believe that shit last night btw, lile should be chucked out. No matter how you feel about a situation you will not get a credible arguement listened to if you walk of the pitch, they should be knocked out.
I'd disagree tbh

Yeah I think he played brilliantly. Gutted he isn't a Ger anymore Ironic how he left as he wasn't getting on very well with Advocaat because he was being played out of position... as a central midfielder Now he's one of the best in the world at it

IIRC he felt he was best sitting just behind the striker Damn that boy He said he would love to come back to Rangers one day But that would probably be when he's about 35
