not trying to efend scholesy but i do think he lost it for a second but stopped himself before he actually hit alonso. he just stood there afterwards and you could see he was like "wtf did i just do". really out of character but a red card none the less.

I was livid after the footy

Hearing bluenoses shout for moyes's blood later on made it a bit more bearable

I thought we were very unlucky but we needed to put some of the chances away.

Carragher played out of his skin.

Scholesy incident was funny you could tell he sort of pulled out of the dig half way through

yeh must admit carragher was amazing, except his challenge on rooney

i was like when he challenged ronaldo on the left on the box, got up then ran over and last man slid into rooney and cleared it

Rooney didn;t even notice for a minute

It was good to see him all over that box putting in important challenges (as said sometimes more than once per move )

I thought carra proved his class and should be in the England first team. He plays like that week in week out. I have to agree with a point Marc made, Arsenal will come good, and imo be winning the title within the next couple of seasons. He's done exactly what Fergie did with Scholes Beckham Neville etc back in the 90's and everybody thought he was daft. That team then went on to dominate the Premiership. I also agree that Liverpool badly need a consistent finisher. With Alonso, Gerrard, and HOMOSISSOKO's ability to pass and create, they are begging for someone to bury the chances.

It will be interesting in a few seasons time as have to agree with whats been said.

Utd - Have a good side but need to bring in some younger players as a few oldies who wont be around for too much longer (Neville, VDS, Scholes, Giggs).

Chelsea - As long as Roman is about will still buy the best players they can throw thier money at.

Liverpool - Good basis of a team, but need a few bigger named players to add quality, hopefully the US money will help with this.

Arsenal - Good basis for a team already and some great younguns coming through who will be amazing with experience in the Prem.

Spur - the team we are all trying to catch. Consistantly have amazing players no matter who they are and who we all stuggle to emulate.

Foster will replace VDS soon enough, hes coming back at the end of the season. Theres a few reserve players that could fill Nevilles shoes, I just hope Bardlsey doesn't sign for Villa. Kieron Lee is exceptional too. Midfield long term needs looking at.

Agreed about Chelsea, he'll just keep replacing players with players with even dafter price tags.

I think Liverpool need to start developing their youth squad (If they have one??) like United did and like Arsenal are doing now. I havn't really being impressed with who they've brought in.

Arsenal will defiantley be challenging on all fronts in 2 to 3 seasons time, I wonder if Henry and Van Persie will still be involved though.

Spurs, the team that everyone is chasing. heard next season they will be in the Champions League and the UEFA Cup just so they win 5 trophies.

What? We won the youth FA Cup last season, and are in the semi's this season

Rafa has been bringing in young players since he has joined, but as Wenger said it takes a few years to get them in and find the quality. In Jan Rafa signed for example...

Daniele Padelli - Italian U21 Goalie.
Astrit Ajdarevic - 16yr Ood Swede midfielder.
Emiliano Insua - 17yr old LB from Boca Juniors
Francisco Manuel Duran - Spanish U19 Midfielder
Jordy Brouwer - Dutch forward.
Ronald Huth - U17 Paraguayan CB.

Thats what pisses me off about Chelsea, Man Utd, T'pool, Arsenal are all thinking about long term and are trying to bring in talented youngsters as long term replacements for the older players, and Chelsea just keep buying 30 somethings for stupid money And they'll continue to do so, cunts. Spurs don't need to worry about the long term, I heard they have the fountain of youth hidden in White Heart Lane.

Yeah he is a good prospect, hopefully get some good experience at Dunfermline for the rest of the season.

We do have some good young players coming through, but are only around 16 or 17 so not pushing for first team experience just yet, thats why Arsenal are a few years ahead of us as have been at it for longer under Wenger.
