No you're right we didn't. I still don't agree either. This doesn't mean McTwatface is a good manager, it meas we wouldnt have a fucking clue what to do.

You mean you two wouldnt know to put a forward on when you are drawing 0-0 and not swap your RB's?

He doesnt take training sessions, he has coaches for that.
He doesnt scout opposing teams as he has teams of scouts that compile reports on them.
He has to speak to the press....not hard if you can speak!
He has to pick 11 players and some subs for each game...shouldnt be too hard considering he is picking from 100's of possible players and isnt limited by cash.
He has to pick the tactics for that game...again shouldnt be hard considering he has massive reports compiled for him by scouts.
He has to decide if and when to use subs...most can tell what you need in a game (if you need to score you need forwards, if you need to keep a lead you need defenders, etc.).
So he doesnt have a massively hard job other than in games against tough opposition.

Easy, you should email the FA and tell them they are wasting money by even bothering with Head Coaches. In fact, email every Football Association in the WORLD and tell them all they are wasting money.

i can see ina way why he put richards on as the lad get's up the right hand side well and helps in attack. but i think his other subs were pointless. taking lennon off (who imo was our best player) for downing. and taking johnson off for defoe with only 10 mins remaining.

lennon needs to be on the right IMO, when on the left he cuts in too much and gets out muscled.

Im not saying it is simple, and anyone in the world could do it.
But his job is certinaly not as hard as some people think, he has his pick of some of the best players in the world, and TBH his tactical knowledge should only really be tested in the bigger/harder games.

IMO thats where you are wrong. If you need to score goals, you dont just throw more forwards on, thats a risk as the way im reading that, it sounds like you would be sacrificing a defender which could leave you vunerable (sp).
SOmetimes you just need a player to come on thats fresh, maybe a midfielder, someone who can create a chance or take an opportunity via set piece. like *cough* Beckham *cough*

No, dont get me wrong Im not saying take a defender off for a forward (although in games against lesser teams like Isreal we should be able to handle one less defender for a forward) but just swapping a defender for a defender is ridiculous.

Arsene Wenger brought Eboue on against spurs semi final, carling cup, and he made a difference in terms of his running up and down the wing.
But I see what your saying.
Then

Totally depends on who you are playing TBH. But against a lesser team (which most should be to a correctly selected England side) the tactical decisions shouldnt be hard at all.

if that EVER happened i would rip up my England shirt
I don't get this? Not having a dig at you or anything but is it because he is French and you want someone English? Or are you letting domestic football get in the way of you admitting wenger is a good manager?
Im a Man Utd fan, but I could honestly say Arsene Wenger would be ideal. Has he not in the past admitted he would like to manage England?
Bottom of the line, I want McClaren replaced...its the same regime as sven imo.

in regards to managers i think it should be compulsary for every national teams manager to be from that Country, it makes sense.
