i already said i understand why u did it that way.sometimes i forget that the things i have access to others not in the trade dont have the same handy access too

well there you go. i dont have anything more than an engine stand and some spanners, but ive managed to get on fine with that car so far, and apart from mapping the engine, it will once again all get done on the drive. i take a bit of pride in having a go myself. id rather have a go then just pay people to do it most of the time.

those bits in the pic are

steel layered head gasket
exhaust manifold gasket
turbo to manifold gasket
16 genuine hydraulic lifters
2 inlet manifold gaskets

as i say, it dont get much more exciting than that really. tomorrow exciting picture may be of a camblet if i get time to get to the parts place in the morning
