some people have obviously never tried to look at an oncoming car such as a new renault during the daytime. All you can see is purple and blue colours and reflections off the windscreen.

no, i got a form when i took insurance out, listed the engine as it was back then, and as ive changed things i just ring them and tell them before i do it, its not actually changed the premium much really. the carbon bonnet put it up, changing the turbo and manifold didnt. weird eh. cosmetic mod i guess.

but forward facing cameras dont flash, cos that would blind you...... thus making them legible, glare is glare, if your in a mot garage and the sun is shining on your front window they dont fail you there and then

(b) in such a position that in normal daylight the characters of the registration mark are easily distinguishable, in the case of a plate fixed on the front of the vehicle, from in front of the vehicle and, in the case of a plate fixed on the rear of the vehicle or trailer, from behind the vehicle or trailer.
any normal day light will reflect off your windscreen thus obscuring the registration in your window
