been ages since i updated, a fair bit has changed
bought these lights:
new air filter:
new spax rear dampers (mine were 'knocking') & '90mm' (80mm ) springs
bought a load of steinmetz bits:
got 165/50/15 bridgestone potenza's put on my ronal turbos:
sent the car away to the paintshop to get the bonnet, wings, new bumpers, skirts, arches, mirrors and de-locked handles painted in star silver.
before:
after:
a few more pictures:
fitted my SA rears for a change:
still to do:
fit my NEW wheels.
fit the de-locked handles, take the rub strips off, fit the steinmetz skirts... semi smooth boot?!

heard about wheel whores
but never heard of a rear light whore
think you got a nice choice of rear lights there
if you ever think about selling the clear euro style lights let us know
also how wide are the ronal turbos
are they 7j, 8j, 9j?

they are - although 80mm works pretty well with the ronal turbos, not so much with the new wheels.

i'm always on the look out for cheap rare corsa items, i've got bits that won't even make it onto the car

i had already thought about doing this before that ad came up, i'll either buy that one (it's in liverpool ) or do the work on my current boot in the spring

when i can get my rear tyres put on, no many places will do them
could only get the fronts done at r-tec
test fitted the rears on 195/45/15 tyres and i'm very pleased with them, just need to get 165s on the rear now

Yeah any.
Break cleaner on inside of tyre rim. and shoot a ball of flame into the wheel. sorted
A cheeter/blast gun worked for mine tho. try and find a garage that uses these and will give it a go! should be fine.

the annoying thing is, the 165s were loosely on the 8s and r-tec abandoned ship... i should've taken them home and aerosol'd them...
