what does everybody think about having the rear stripped with the 2 leather front seats and a half cage? i dont think leather front seats would suit a stripped kind of look??

If you are gonna strip the rear then bucket seats all the way, especially with a cage in there.

UPDATE 31/01/08

Went to the motor factors to order a manifold gasket and seen a tin of underbody sealer there so though id use it where the cars been jacked up and the original sealer has been scraped off to prevent it rusting in the future and thought id do the front corssmember aswel as i got bored..

Also give the towing eye a fresh coat of paint as it was slightly scratched from being towed.

also mounted the oil cooler above the crossmember and the oil lines where going underneath it before and were really close to the floor..

Almost all the wiring is back together now aswel and the header tank and nearly all the pipes

Got bored so decided to cut my mates steering wheel as hes changing it any way..

and put my bumper and bonnet on his car to see what it would look lk..

Also sprayed my battery tray black as i didnt like it when it was yellow..

all thats left to do now is refit the radiator, tighten the head bolts up, fit the cams(when they arrive) and do the timing.

UPDATE 06/02/08

Not alot done since last time but my parts have arrived now so i can get the engine running again..

Cams and power cap got delivered yesterday..

its not staying yellow, its going black soon as i get some black spray..

didnt take any pictures of the cams but they all look the same any way lol.

New manifold gasket

Refitted the radiator and fixed the oil cooler properly..

its yellow because i got a bit bored up the garage and started spraying things lol..

Power cap fitted..

Also found a cool red pipe up the garage

not going to use it tho as it wouldnt match the other colours..

Also fixed the vacuum gauge to the dash properly aswel..

Anyway thats all for now. will get some more pics tonight when the cams are in and timings done etc..
