Why did you even try to fit the kit in the first place, when it was such a bad fit? You could of least got shot of it and bought a better fitting kit, saving all the hassle of bodging fuck out of the entire kit to make it fit.

tbh expect that reaction from somone that a) puts a combat kit on thier car and b) sprays it with rattle cans

no but thats a different matter, bodywork is my trade. im not ripping him to bits tho. things like the self tappers to hold while the bond cures, yeah i would as would anyother panel beater.

the way hes done the front bumper is probably the best way to go about it without hours and hours of work making the original bumper fit, as it has been said already plastic and f/glass dont work so well together so if it was moulded after that it would be immense but it shoulw work well provided its been done correctly

Update - 27th on goes some primer and painted the door shuts, masking takes fooking ages!

Primer is on, still little bits of filling needs doing, the car was getting a mess so i put down the primer so i can see what needs doing.

Monday will prime the other side, and paint other door shut, then afternoon out it will come, for the final bits of filler.

Tuesday, wet dry the primmer flat, and do the boot shut. clean the car up, hopefully get 1 side painted.

Wednesday, car out turn it around do the other side.

Thursday, car out, de mask it, refit all bits, lights ect.

Saturday, flaten and poslish it

Watch this space for those who care

Why would it be different shades if its coming out of the same, tin? as for coats u only need to leave 20mins to tack off for the next coat, i prefer to wait an hour thou

good work matey, are you self taught coz you are doing extremly well cant wait to see it finished. just don't rush the paint job, set yourself more hours to paint it than nesacery, that way if you encounter any probs you have time to sort them out. This how i started, doing all the work on my drive then squeezing the bits in the garage to paint it, you learn quickly though
