I meant by the end of the season, not the end of January! It is looking more like they will be 30+ points behind at present, the sad thing is that will almost certainly see Rafa going which means the team is again back to square 1.

Blimey, if Man U, Arsenal or Chelsea had 2 or 3 bad results on the bounce they would say they are having their dip in form. In scouseland a dip in form covers a season!

I cannot see them finishing outside of 4th TBH, obviously any chance of finishing above that is dead and buried.

City and Villa despite plugging away quite well have little in reserve in the eventuality of injuries.

I couldn't imagine West Ham/Blackburn or even Portsmouth surpassing them.

If anyone would dislodge them from fourth you would have to say Everton!

No u wouldnt cosmotron cos they changed th erule straight after they let you in, champions dont qualify anymore

Youll still ease 4th IMO

Yeah pretty certain cos they said at the time theyd make the exception this once due to the confusion but FIFA rules state (like in the WC and Euros) champions can neber automatically qualiufy... stupid rule IMO and will backfire one day when the champs dont qualify!!
