Not yet. I've given him my camera and he's taking pics as he's going along. Popped in today and its all ready for primer now.
Should be done end of next week. Cutting it fine for the Sunday meet but these things take time as theres so much work. Getting the engine bay sanded and prepped is a test with a big 2L lump in there! But I have no doubt the finished result will be second to none and well on it's way to being one of the tidyest, finest GSi's around.

I aint that rich! Inner arches and other bits you can see (drums, beam etc) are being done too. It's too low to see underneath anyway! Wanna do something with the interior too.

Its a lot more than 65mm on the front and the 100mm springs look more like 90mm as the fronts so low.

Here's my old GSi which was 60/90. I'd say my LET is easily 15mm lower on the front.

Haha I know that Jay. I agree the back doesn't look 100mm but the front being so low has deffo brought the back up. Yeh I miss it still to this day. It was mint and not a scratch on it. Wish I put a Turbo in that rather than wasting my money on that silly VTS

My Pipercross Induction kit split when trying to remove it to clean. So for now, I've had to buy a cheap replacement. Only temporary as I'm skint with all the work going on. Looks good though to be fair. It'll do the job

So after being in for 3 weeks, my car is almost done! I'll be picking it up Saturday morning. Here's a couple of progress pics my mate took for me. Enjoy

Began flatting rust and bad spots:

Then started on whole body by sorting out dents etc:

Into primer:

Flatting down again after primer:

And then came the gorgeous Smoke Grey paint:

Thats it for now. Just a few bits to do and it'll be all ready and I'll get some decent completed pics up. Cheers for looking
