Only the bumpers and wheels would have been different, that and the price.

The free tweed flat cap tipped the balance.

Seriously though, I was going to buy an iPhone and ended up with this

i'd love to have seen the chain of events that happened in the build up to you buying a car instead of a phone

The car shop is on my route home from the retail park where I was looking for a phone, I went in on the off chance that they'd be open and I could test drive something interesting, I then ended up putting my £500 down on something after about an hour of being there

I've already discovered that genuine E46 CSL wheels will fit, but replicas won't, the M3 saloon rear spoiler looks awesome and BMW sell slightly tinted rear lights which also look awesome. I see a plan forming

The mk1 Golf, without a shadow of a doubt, was the most fun car I've had out of the lot of them, I would have bought Paul H's if he'd do me finance

Interesting looking E21. I'm disappointed

On the other hand it seems a very sensible choice and should look nice on some decent wheels

In BMW Magazine which I haven't read for ages, there was a staff car which was a black saloon. Had the lip spoiler, tinted rear lights and some ACS alloys. omg

And with regard to the seats, it may have what's called the Dynamics Package or something, which dad's 1 series has. SE spec, but with Sports seats, Suspension & bigger alloys, although yours is missing the alloys
