AK i feel you should test drive an e36 m3 before you choose, hopefully track prepped.

m3 is going to be different to the skylines and imprezas you've had before and you always got fees car if you fancy some 4wd jap turbo madness

How to look silly (again) in one easy step...

All were road cars turned into race cars..

But they all start as a road going car, thats stripped down.

As MrT would say

Adam, get a Monaro.

Strip it.

Simple tuning, plus side of 500bhp.

16"s
Decked

And BOOM, have yourself a merry little christmas....

Ignore that THIS is Commodore though

Just as pricey as an Evo on juice, but RWD, far more fun.

Do i need to break it down for you???Surely u aint that stupid???Or are you??

The title says "budget track cars".More than half the cars he posted with pictures, are road cars.
The others have been converted to "track cars".When i say "track cars" i am implying they have been modified extensivley over theyr equivilent standard, factory road going brothers,to be driven quick on track.

Eg.No interior is better than having full road trim:Less weight +1
Full roll cage to stiffen up the chassis thus making it corner better:+2
Full roll cage incase an accident happens and the car goes into a tumble therefor helps save the life of the occupants in the car:+3
Bigger brakes reducing the chance of brake fade after hard driving:+4
Uprated suspension to help corner faster and keep the car lower to the ground, and to reduce body roll:+5

I can keep going if it helps.

Daimo - I think i'd fall off the track backwards after getting out of shape at the exit of the first corner

CorsaSport21 - Again.... Please just get out of this thread if you arent going to just shut the fuck up about a thread from ages ago. Its over, forget about it.

Yes but some of them are more than likely just used as track cars.Hence the reason they have all the modifications to make them quicker on track.
