sounds wrong IMPO i hate bmws that are loud, i always prefer them to factory exhaust and shear engine noise.
Not into the tip choice ya thinking bout, to jap looking for me.
You not thought about getting an m3 backbox and gettin the box welded to the 328 exhaust, seen it done a few time and looks awesome

I was thinking either just slash cut or slash cut with burnt tips, but not totally bothered.
Na I wanted something very loud, for fun as I got the pipes made up with 328i flanges so I can still put on the old backbox if I want.

Its quite loud aye, but if I have the windows up, its not too bad, as there is about 3 layers of sound proofing in my boot, but when I put the window down in an enclosed street (buildings each side) its pretty loud

What do yas think of 2 of these tailpipes?
Obviously turned 180 degrees, I've found a place that does 2 for £20 and some people want £50
I will probably get them welded on and slightly staggered, ie the right hand side one will stick out a bit more to go with the contours of the bumper.

Look quite similar to the ones on later 330's etc so should look ok I guess. How big are they though?

I G3 cutting compounded the bonnet today, will be doing the rest of the car at some point.
Very shiney, can even see the reflection of the clouds. Will probably use some meguiars super resin polish as a final polish then the wax made just for the SRP to go over.

Went to Edinburgh to other day and got 36MPG.
Around town and short journeys I get low 20's.
Very good on long runs though.

Also standard backbox is back on, well too loud for everyday use, would be good for trackdays though.
