you are paid to do a job and not mess about on the pc and you should have had a written warning straight away,.
so what are you laughing at

What am I laughing at? I think this picture alone answers that question:

20valver, you clearly are in no position to comment on electrical safety if you do not even know what voltage is at a UK mains socket. I see your 'clever' calculations are for the amount of bulbs you have in your system. Show me your calculations involving the voltage drop of the extension leads and through those multi plugs. A lamp is inductive so it will always try and draw the same amount of power. Because the voltage drops due to the resistance in the leads and through those multiplugs you will be drawing far more than 13 amp anyway. Have you never heard of losses? In a perfect world you are bordering on dangerous as it is, due to the fact you are already overloading the supply drawing over 3kW when you supply is only safe for less than 3kW.

Assomeone else pointed out. It is your neighbours I feel sorry for.Not only having to live next to the tacky lights but the fire hazard you have caused. But hey, you won't be escaping that easily.

The word _tacky_ springs to mind. Hardly tasteful decoration, is it?

I had to share this incredible feat of stupidity and chavvyness with the good folk of pistonheads. Just to see what they think...

I can see this being the sort of post that circulates the web as a major pisstake.
