Well the kitchen is almost finished, just needs finishing touches, tiled and screw covers put on etc, and peel the plastic covers off the cupboards.
Not a big kitchen so we went for gloss white, and wood worktop. gonna have black tiled floor and white tile splashbacks.
Then the livingroom needs a paint, fireplace fitted carpets in and we can get moved in, sofas get delivered in 3 weeks so its gonna be a mad few weekends getting everything done!

Well we finally moved in at end of June!!
House is finished inside, just need to get splashback tiles for kitchen. And buy some furniture Kitchen stuff skint us out!
I couldn't be more happier! I had visions of how it would look, but it has entirely exceeded those! George has done me proud. With my taste and his hard work I think we have totally transformed the house
Anyway, I am biased and appreciate some of it may not be everyones taste.
We are working on back garden, its mostly just clearing away all the rubble which is hard graft with only a wheelbarrow and couple of spades!! Plans are deck right at back door, then grass in middle, and paved at back for all georges sheds for the tools and car stuff
If you go back to page 1 you will see the comparison
Here's how the place looks 5 full months of weekends and evenings onwards, we finally have our lives back

Bathroom:
Hall/Stairs:

2nd Bedroom:

Huge transformation, I feel your pain in doing the gardens... You putting a splashback behind the cooker, will soon get messy if you dont..

Even if the valuation may be a pleasant surprise, don't want to move anyway.
Don't know about him but I plan on staying put for a good 3 or 4 years

Well, garden progress has been a bit slow, as we finished sorting house out and by then it was winter.
It's quite hard trying to do things to the house after we actually moved in and had bills to pay, total naivety on our part
Anyhoo, we aren't doing nothing fancy, just a 6 ft fence, deck, then turf the middle part, then slabbed down the bottom for him and his ''tool / fix it'' days
George has just finished the deck and it looks fantastic in my opinion
It's been hard getting rid of all the rubble - the prev owners obv took a huff at getting repo'd so he knocked down his garage and left it lying in pieces!
Couple of before piccys
