its complete blinkers against vauxhalls instead.

i like what i like. and i like vauxhalls and fords to drive over most other makes. its opinions and that. i just dont think you would get people on other forums, say a ford forum and be full of people advising others to buy other makes over the make the forum is about.

by watching that video, that car gets to 100 faster than my corsa does.

With the power you are running I assume grip is the main issue though

suppose in that video its not actually starting from 0. but still it works out about 9 seconds from 0-100 which is near m5 pace. and a 250bhp civic is not m5 pace at all.

i smell another youtube dodgy clip.

so if i use the youtube timer propery its say 11 seconds 0-100. a std one does 0-100 in about 15 and theyre just under 200bhp

50bhp = 4 seconds quicker acceleration?

i guarantee it. i know people with more power than that, which cant get to 100 as quick as that in a ctr.

infact the one i know thats 470 odd bhp doesnt get to 100 much quicker than 11 seconds.

yeah they are to be fair. most things are compared against them on most forums it seems.

still though, theyre common as much and proper chav car these days. thats why id rather have the astra. its an image thing, and i couldnt deal with the overnight changes in ego.
