It had a sunroof so it was removed to fit the cage as i needed to fit a roof without a sunroof.

With the roof off he can paint the top of the cage. He says that he's going to bond the roof in, that means he can paint the roof off the car without making a mess of everything when fitting it as no welding is needed

yeah i knew the roof had been taken off, but my thoughts were the same as Johns for paint. but that makes sense with the painted roll cage.

Back on it tomorrow, hope to make a start on the car wiring and remove the big plug that used to sit in the passenger said footwell. Going to also chuck in the wiper motor and fit all the fuel lines in place. Should be ready to start by the end of the weekend bar the manifolds.
