ya but not the one i want built shes going to be ready for us at combe and mallory, just need to think about the pad situation and i think your right about the tyres still having plenty of meat in them. She is quite shonky.

With regard to the sunroof, my friend had an issue in his car with a cage, so he took the sunroof out, had a glass bit made and used a seal u get with after market sun roofs so just had a glass top with no issues of fouling with the cage!

it looks like your going rather far with a 4dr astra for a track car with a small engine, are you planning something specual under the bonnet?

no the fun is lost when you start making it unreliable
as it currently out corners 70% of what it comes across at the ring its more fun with 118bhp
still think it needs a v6 however

xe - old would need a rebuild
LET, above, plus would it really be cut out for constant lapping
V6 - best option i can see tbh
or maybe the 2.2 chain driven 150bhp lump ?
