The 1.7 cdti only has about 100bhp tho & read somewhere they could not be remapped eitha?

They will be if he is used to knocking about in a 1.2 8v 
Not fast if you used to more powerfull cars (but they are on par with a 1.4 sport) and do about 10-15 mpg more! Brilliant

Wouldn't bore me, the 1.4 did bore me for a bit because I was missing the diesel, but its growing on me every day and I'm starting to love it, just miss the character of the B and the turbo

I went in a corsa combo with a 2.0 turbo derv in. supposed to be a very easy fit
