A mate in work has the Cooper S Works and it's scary how much he spends on it.
The one thing that is putting me off a BMW is the servicing costs if something goes wrong

Yeah there not the cheapest.
936 quid for a service for mine!! A 911 major service at an official porsche centre costs less than that!!

My old man was telling me how much better I'd be running my car on the premium esso diesel. But 110.9 a litre for that or 97.9 for tesco makes it an easy choice

Yeah you might aswell stick to the tesco stuff. I never noticed any difference in using premium diesel with my GTtdi.

Thats only for a major one, oil change in between wont be too bad.
Ive been doing a bit of reading up on 997 Carrera's & was surprised to learn that they have 2yr / 20,000 mile service intervals. Theres not even a run in service, 1st time back in the dealers should be when it hit's 20k. Thought that was quite something!!

Full tank on the beeza is whatever 35 litres was, hovering around the £36 mark I recon (I never took any notice with that )
Mito has a 45 litre tank so i'll be pushing 47-8 quid? Doing 520 odd miles to that though

I vented the tank the other week and managed to fit 45 litres in
Usually comes in around £35 to fill up though and get 450-500 miles from that

Ibiza only has a 35L tank Sure my golf had like 55L tank
Golf & BMW are about the same to fill - 50odd quid depending on how much there charging that month!
Lasts me about 2 weeks.
