Insurance is £2000 for my dad with me on a provisional as second driver. So really 2K for me to drive it at weekends. And my dad has his own car so won't want to drive my little 1.0

So really, I can't afford to insure it I'm a first year apprentice on a plumbing course and I don't earn enough to do it.

Ah well

I was thinking if I sold it, it would pay for my lessons and test. And by the time I passed my test I should be a second year apprentice and earning a good bit more than I am at the moment and therefore be able to buy and insure a car.

Or else do what you said and keep it as a project, but then I would be paying for my lessons and stuff out of my wages and not be able to afford to do any thing to the car

Have to think about and decide what I'm going to do.

Went out to it today for the first time in a while, forgot how much I liked it, started up first time as well

Decided I'm going to keep it, focus on getting my licence and just have this to mess with. Get it looking mint, should be a good first car once I'm on the road

Progress will be slow though!
