Fucked. Didn't realize it didn't have anti-freeze, it was too late by the time i noticed. Now has no compression in one cylinder, and limited on another, only one cylinder is at full compression and its not enough to start it, gay 3cylinder.

Hate is strong with this one.

Right. I done a wet test, it showed fine, bit more oil down the bore and plugs back in.... It started, runs on 3 cylinders and seems fine. Even started again later on. So we reckon it was just a stuck ring?

Anyway, Its fine now, Crisis over.

Was the base a bugger to fit? I'm wanting to fit a better one to mine but I've heard it's quite a difficult job

I just pulled down the headlining in the middle, cut the cable tie holding the airel cable/amp wire and disconnected them, undone the nut with a pair of pliers and then its the reverse of removal.
Hardest bit was prob getting the headlining back into the right place.

The proper way would be to remove one side panel etc, but effort.
