The front suspension/hubs etc took an hour and half to mask each side apparently!!

Sprayed met silver. Not sure what point this is and whether its been laquered or not. Obv not been buffed etc. Blue tape is so my dad could check the masking for the stripe before it is sprayed Anthracite.

With regards to the silver. Presume its all going silver with a anthracite stripe then? As to why they have fully demasked it I'm not sure. But then they will line the stripes up, take it apart, mask, paint stripe then take tape off and lacquer it all.

In the pics above the nose, bonnet, scuttle and back end had been flatted ready to take the stripe, if that makes sense??? I know sod all about spraying etc.

Tbh my first choice was white with a red stripe but my Dad was having none of it so we agreed on this.

Its nearly rebuilt again. Pics in a day or two.

Harnesses have gone in too now to replace the standard belts.
