although i did want an audi a4 1.8t to pimp about in but i remember having a play with a yellow seat leon cupra (reg was R666 WHU, seen it around here a few times), on the A13 and we were near enough dead level up to silly speeds.
and they are pretty good value now so might get one of those.
fuel costs aren't an issue as chafford hundred to ford dagenham is straight down the A13, about 10 miles each way.
