I've just had an S-line 2.0 TDI 170 Quattro Avant for a week and a half. Quite nice if you need that kind of space Was really handy for me when going Mountain Biking, get 2 bikes in the back with the seats down and all the gear no problem. Bit much for me when I was just driving back and forward to work on my own though

I think the Avant is creeping back to the top of the list followed by the Zaf. At least I've got 2 different price scales with those

Just had our Q1 results call for the UK, net turnover of €1.4b

I'd like a white one with black grill and the optional 19" RS4 style wheels. The 18" wheels look a little lost.

I really liked it but I have no need for something like that at the moment. Especially at 32/33k for that particular one with the options on it

Yeah it was about 30k spec'd up with the bits he wanted.

Ive told him to get a 140 S-line & have it remapped because its about 1500-2000 cheaper!!

Personally I would go for the 170 but not Quattro purely cos it knocks quite a few MPG off but it will never ever wheelspin. I couldn't get it to.

I've had a 140 before and it had nowhere near as much go as that 170 but then it was a stock 140. Mind you if its your Dad and he is anything like my Dad he thinks the 140 engine is more than enough

I've got the 170 engine in my A3 and it feels like a rocket compared to the A4!

Its a 140 hes got just now, the model before the fairy lights its not very exciting at all but he likes it & the aftersales service he recieves is 2nd to none!!

He only uses it to go to the shops, & taking the dog on long walks out of town

He steals my M3 when im away for excitement, ends up driving the bloody thing 400 miles in a day!!

Yizerrrrrrp. Not too expensive though, the major service is about 250-300 ish I think the rest are between 100-250. Might be wrong though as I've not paid much attention to it as it was done not long before i got it.

My dad had a 140TDi A3 SE on an 05 plate, in 3.5 years racked a good 150k up on it. The aftersales was sooo good he once told the service manager to f off and stop calling him, the service audi gave was brilliant but he got pissed off with the phone calls, emails, text messages and snail mail they kept sending!

I used to drive it (off road) when I was 16, 140bhp felt like a fucking rocketship to me

Mines meant to be 16k miles intervals but it goes on litres of fuel consumed so probably needs doing every 9-10k as well!!

Decided im going to sell mine after the next service!! Will be on 50kodd then, time to get something else!!
