*** UPDATE****
x14xe engine is out
all ready for the x18xe1 to go in.....
out with the old in with the NEW
we managed to get the x14xe belt without aircon and without PAS to fit the x18xe block but have to fabricate a bracket for to hold the alternator father will be doing that
block is in went in no bother
adjustable FPR in ready for the return to go on
i have refitted the coil-overs with new top mounts and bearings
put new ball joints and track rod ends on
new cv joints and boots
LEFT TO DO:
passenger side engine mount needs to come in abit as its pulling the mount out
wire it in
add the chip and transponder
cut the heater matrix pipes to fit the pipe with out fouling the inlet manifold
and general few fiddle bits
paint the battery tray black (white and rust is the color lol )
will up date tomorrow when i hope its all done
would like to thank wor lass for the pictures and taking my engine out yesterday
thanks for looking

well the engine is running a few issues with:
throttle cable the engine is idle at 2000rpm
the fuel pressure drops at the top end of the rev range
need to find a good airfilter pipe so its not bodged
but its running i am quite impressed better then a x14xe
got these this morning custom heater control knobs
wor lass took the honour of autosol them lol
one on the left is when they arrived one on right is after
all 3 polished
took the car to get the tracking done too little picture of it on the ramp
thanks for looking
its just the little things that take a while
