If my dad owned a pretty big name in the tuning industry, id expect to pay very little for this, fair play to him for building it ino

Yeah, no one had done Jap wheels well on VAG's, Stanton does it very well, gets shit loads of publicity about it, now loads of people have the same wheels, not a coincidence. Same thing with VW Players Mk3 Golf which had TSW venoms on at Ultimate dubs, then a fair few had them on at E38

One thing is for sure, you could put a cock on your roof and if it made a magazine it would be popular at the next show.

this was featured with the rotas in the same issue my corsa was... beginning of the year... it was pretty unheard of to fit jap wheels on a euro motor then
i admit it doesn't seem very quick for the claimed output, but it's clearly a work in progress, pretty cool stuff

If it IS a Haldex system running that power, it does seem to lose grip in the first three gears, then go well after it. Nics Corsa can't get grip in the first three, then batters off like hell after that so it seems plausible. (I am not only going by wheelspin, the pace it goes through the gears is impressive too).

I think in that vid it was still in 2wd as Regal only have a 2wd rolling road. He has a gear dependent boost controller too, so not the full power in 1st and 2nd, probably limited slightly in 3rd too

I doubt he would launch into something like that without knowing what he was doing.

I just know that they're a relatively large tuning company that would probably be capable of moving a suspension turret up a bit without fucking up the car.
Problem being that if that's the only thing they've done to get it that low, funny things will be happening elsewhere, ie. the rest of the geometry - which depends on things being in certain places - will be out.
That isn't to say it's unsafe at all - the workmanship is obviously suitable as it's passed an MOT. I just can't see it handling very well with that geometry.
I don't know much about geometry I'll admit but at the end of the day, even if they're a bunch of cowboys like people are saying, don't you think they'd put a bit of thought into one of their employees/ big bosses son's(?) car(still not got a clue who his dad is in relation to the company) Even if they do some dodgy work I'd assume that they've got the equipment and technical know how between them to do something properly if they put their minds to it.

isn't it just the same theory as lowering a car but keeping some suspension travel, rather than lowering it all with shorter springs etc.

I'd put money on the roof box being empty and with fuck all in the boot either. Pointless mods are pointless.
