Not a lot of progress but I've done some bits, my let turbo manifold was missing the bolts so nipped and got some brand new ones only cost me £1 for 10

Before

And fitted

Got a pot type flywheel the other day

All the bolts

Came to fit it and it doesn't fit :/ it's Asif the flywheel bolt holes are ever so slightly out. Or should they be like this ?

As you can see the holes are out ?!?!

Also my inlet is missing a solid pipe that my xe had where can I get one ?
On my xe

And missing on my let

Any help is much appreciated g

The flywheel only goes on one way mate. I found this out doing mine. Take the bolts back out and keep spinning it until they all line up.

So found out , that the missing pipe on the let doesn't go from the throttle body to the rocker, it goes from the rocker to the turbo a handy picture that shows this ...

Thanks to Nic Barnes for the photo

Just wondering if anyone knows how tight the flywheel bolts should be ?

My F28 box is now in the capable hands of beardy met him today really nice bloke, having my box checked over and having a different (standard) diff fitted.
found out my F28 box is electrical so my speedo wont work in my corsa. Beardy said he will look into chaninging my box to mechanical so my speedo will work. what sensor will i need for the f28 though? My clocks in my corsa are electric

The flywheel should be torqued to a certain amount. I'm sure you'll be able to find out the amount on mig web etc.

***Long awaited update !! 16/6/13***

Been a very long time since my last update been busy with my Corsa c, since PVS I've got fired up again to finish this bought some new flywheel bolts and I have a new crank oil seal coming soon. Checked the bolts fitted today and they do.
When my oil seal comes ill be fitting that, then fitting the flywheel properly and torquing the bolts.
Got to choose a clutch aswell.
All being well I'm hoping to have the chassis strengthening plates on this week by Beardy.
Anyway pics
Old flywheel bolts

New bolts only come in 5"s weirdly

Old v new

Fitted my arb with the poly bushes so it can be moved

Few pics just to remind me and everyone else what it looks like , and how dusty it's got

Also reconnected my steering column

And fitted my steering wheel

Dug out my old cam cover and timing belt cover not sure what colour scheme to go for
Black rocker with red l piece and silver writing
Or
Silver rocker with red l piece and silver writing

That's all for now hopefully it will have been welded by my next update

So got home today and this was awaiting me

In it was ...

My new c20let clutch from auto vaux £140 odd which I thought was reasonable, will have to see if it will stand up to 300bhp should be okay though.

Also ordered a brand new genuine vauxhall rear crank oil seal, thought it was worth replacing seeing as the flywheel clutch etc are off was £33 at trade ! Picking it up Thursday all being well
Thanks all for now thanks for looking

Went over to get my corsa ready for having the chassis strengthening kit fitted on Saturday
Also my oil seal came today

Basically went mad with cable ties holding wires out of the way and checked everything was tight for going on my trailer
Couldn't resist this

Reminded me of

How times change
